Author Bio

Stephen Renneberg is an award winning, science fiction author. His particular ideas about the kind of universe we inhabit underlie his growing series of Mapped Space action/thrillers.

He was born in Sydney, Australia, grew up a keen sportsman and science fiction fan, and went on to study economics and business at university.

After a successful career in finance, he moved into IT, managing a series of large system development projects for major corporations, specializing in the SAP enterprise resource planning system.

In his late twenties, he backpacked around the world, visiting many countries in Asia and Europe before travelling across the United States. He has since visited many more countries, feeding his curiosity about the human condition.

Stephen's books are known for their fast pace, complex plots, intricate world building and interesting characters.

The technical and scientific details of each book are meticulously researched, adding a level of realism that blends seamlessly with the high concept stories and unexpected plot twists.

Stephen lives in Sydney with his wife Elenor, who has edited and proofed all his books, and who shares his interest in science fiction, exotic food and far off lands.
